"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen"

Brene Brown

Hello and welcome!

I’m Debby, a Registered Clinical Psychotherapist and Counsellor.

Having had 20 years of experience working individually with adults, I have immense respect and compassion for the conscious and unconscious strategies we develop to survive, cope, ‘belong’ or feel ‘good enough’ in this world.

There are times when the coping strategies we’ve always relied upon no longer serve us, and our ‘comfort zones’ begin to feel confining. It’s not just about surviving anymore – we yearn to truly thrive, to live authentically and meaningfully. We seek more fulfilling relationships, more effective ways to communicate, and more joy and spontaneity in our lives.

Our journey to authenticity and empowerment can benefit from a commitment to doing our inner work. My aim is to provide a safe, trauma-informed, respectful, and compassionate therapeutic space in which to do this work. Together we can do the emotional and psychological work that can facilitate change at a deep level.

By developing your capacity to live in the present moment whilst feeling all of your feelings and making conscious choices rather than repeating patterns you have outgrown, you become more empowered to create the life you want to live.
